Onboarding
Onboarding runs between acceptance and your first voting cycle. New projects can only be added at the start of a cycle, so this is the window in which everything gets set up.
Technical setup
Section titled “Technical setup”All new team members will learn the necessary skills for using our technological infrastructure, including:
- how to use an Ethereum wallet
- how to store a private key safely
- how to bridge assets between chains
- how to use the Bread Solidarity Fund
If any of this is new to your team, How to Bake $BREAD is the place to start.
Project setup
Section titled “Project setup”- Nominate your representative — they’ll be added as a signer on the Shared Treasury Safe and will attend monthly governance calls
- Send us your assets — a logo and project details so your project can appear as an option on the governance page
- Fill out your project card — the description, links, and treasury address shown on Current Member Projects
- Fund your treasury — hold at least 3,000 $BREAD
- Announce it — add a Bread Cooperative link and logo to your website, and share the news with your community
First cycle
Section titled “First cycle”Once the steps above are complete, your project is added at the start of the next voting cycle and becomes eligible for the monthly yield distribution. Your representative joins the next monthly governance call.
