Bread Cooperative is a worker-owned collective building financial tools for cooperatives, NGOs, and solidarity-focused communities. Everything we build is open source. Every decision is made collectively.
What we do
Section titled “What we do”We build and maintain the Bread Solidarity Fund and Bread Stacks — tools designed to move money in ways that serve communities rather than extract from them. We also take on development work for aligned organisations through our development studio.
$BREAD, our community currency, is the thread running through all of it. It is stable, spendable, and every token in circulation is backed 1:1 by xDAI.
Working with us
